Since our beginning over 30 years ago, Cyclomedia has relentlessly pursued a path focused on technology innovation and excellence. New camera developments and innovations with 3D image capture keep the company at the forefront in its field and in the perfect position to help customers solve anticipated as well as immediate GIS-related and business challenges. From the outset, Cyclomedia was unique in providing large-scale systematic visualizations of physical environments, using specialized technology to collect 360˚ spherical imagery from a moving vehicle.

On an annual basis, Cyclomedia captures and processes approximately 375,000 miles of 360° panoramic street level images and LiDAR data worldwide. That represents over 30 million recordings per year. This figure is increasing significantly every year. With approximately 250 employees, the company is headquartered in the Netherlands and has offices in the US and Germany.

Cyclomedia develops, builds and operates the world’s most advanced mobile mapping systems. A combination of sensors ranging from cameras and LiDAR scanners to state-of-the-art positioning systems map dense urban areas in the United States, Canada, and Western Europe.

The petabytes of data that we collect every year are used by professional users, ranging from city governments to large corporations working in utilities, infrastructure and insurance.
